As part of our goal to grow our YouTube channel, we are releasing the video versions of our interviews. Today we’re sharing one of our very first interviews, which we conducted with Jesse Smith, Director of Land Stewardship at White Buffalo Land Trust, which is an accredited educational hub through the Savory Institute.
At the time of this interview, we were absolutely green, as you can probably tell by the lack of depth of our questioning. This is an interview we’d love to update now that our knowledge is at the level where we can actually comprehend what Jesse was saying to us (not to mention the upgrade of our our current camera set-up and filmmaking skills!), but nevertheless, we find value in sharing this interview because it gives an excellent primer to the topic of regenerative agriculture.
Jesse helps break down the importance of having animals in the landscape, the key ecosystem processes that regenerative agriculture aims to manage in accordance with nature, and he helps us understand the relationship between death and life on the land.
We’re trying to grow our YouTube channel as way to fund this project, so views, likes, and subscribes are free ways that will really help us reach our goals. If you can spare a moment to like and subscribe, it would help us a lot!
Thank you to our paid subscribers for your continued support and for helping us keep this project going. It means so much to us to be able to keep it alive. We have so much we want to create and share with you, and we’re grateful for the opportunity to keep doing this work.
