Well I think it's brilliant and beautiful and wholly fascinating. I'm grateful for your minds and your passion even if it is touched by the very real challenges of life in this time for you. Thank you for this gift. I will share it widely.
Thank you so much, Tara. Your generosity and kindness toward us has been so affirming and we're so happy to hear you enjoyed the video. It's definitely possible that we're way too hard on ourselves! Spending way too many hours staring at this has perhaps warped our ability to perceive it accurately. Thank you so much for this kind message. It gives us the inspiration to keep trying!!
This is a superbly thought out, filmed and presented piece of film; put together with great common sense.
It is so damning that we’re fast tracking ourselves to extinction by continuing this mindless, collective descent to departure despite all the cause and effect scenes that we absolutely know are there.
Throughout the entire film I thought of the Occupied Territory of Palestine - The clarion call that is Gaza, of how the sharp edge of the SelfhooD | othering and imperial colonising behaviour, begun in that Garden of Eden is now reaching its apocalyptic ending.
(I’m a farmer now farming Biologically (as the French say!).
The Monoculture mindset is a massive disaster area for humanity, as is its flip side - more and more urbanisation.)
We in the West smash and have smashed so many cultures which have and had so many lessons for us on how to live.
Being cultured is surely a state of being civilised and should be treated with ultimate respect. (In a Utopian world only, so it seems.)
Very well put together. Using the biblical creation myth was interesting. But we have to be careful with falling into guilt. John Trudell said: "[In the tribal perception] life was a gift...and even dying was like a gift because it was an exchange of life, because we are part of a spiritual reality as physical beings. But then came the idea that there was something wrong with us for being born, like we committed a crime. I think its a major thing. The first time the human being gets that they're guilty for being born, it alters their perception of self because they're viewing themselves through someone else's illusion...[and they're following someone else's lead]. And the way that this illusion seems to work is that people dont seem to LEARN from their guilt, they just keep making new guilts. This is irresponsible behavior. We are supposed to be responsible for what we do, but when they condition us to feel guilty and listen to their chain of command and be submissive to them we are not taking responsibility. And we are not showing respect to our creator whoever it is for the gift of intelligence and life."
I think it was beautifully produced. Though my heart is pained watching it. Those thousands of dusty acres of mono crops are chilling to me. I am guessing it was very difficult to be so square onto this project. Please keep going with your content. I am very comforted to have such well thought out and intelligent voices and my wish is that your audience will reach far and wide. Are we allowed to share the video with non subscribers?
Thank you so much, India. This is such an encouraging comment! Your well wishes for the project really warm our hearts. Thank you. We're going to post the video on YouTube on Monday so it will be available to the public then, but at this time I think it might be possible for non-subscribers to unlock one free post, so it should be sharable in that sense!
